The November 2018 issue of Dragon Magazine is officially out tomorrow on September 20, but we’ve gotten leaks on minor details about the upcoming Saekano (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata) movie and the announcement of another light novel release already!
The magazine, which you can purchase here, confirms that a new volume titled “Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata FD2” will be released on November 20, 2018. The volume is described as “the second fan disc containing records of events with the beautiful creator girls.” It’s also confirmed that a new character will be making an appearance in the volume, although the original novel included in the magazine mentions that said character had already been mentioned before in the original work. We’ll also be able to see “another side to Megumi Katou in her house that we have never seen before”.
On to the movie project, the coverage seems to imply that the movie won’t be “your usual anime movie”:
We’ve done something that no one would ever do in a normal anime movie.
Without thinking about the possible backlash that could happen or making a big impression at all, in a way, the movie has turned into something really amazing.
We do think that there are parts which the fans have been looking forward to, but it really is something we normally would never do in a movie.
Normally, something like this would be in an OVA.
Maybe, it’s better if you go watch in the cinema and see for yourself.
Looks like something big is going to happen in the movie. So what kind of surprise is in store for the fans who have been waiting for it? We’ll know in the near future.
