There has been quite a talk in a thread on 2ch talking about the 26th chapter of the manga “マギ” (Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic); what’s all the fuss about?
It turns out that, according to the news from the manga, the new artists to perform the new opening theme and ending theme have been decided: ポルノグラフィティ / Porno Graffitti for the OP, and supercell for the ED! This means that we’ll get to hear more of Koeda sooner than some of us might expect!
On the other hand, the title of the OP has been confirmed to be the A-side track of Porno Graffitti’s latest upcoming single, “瞬く星の下で” (Matataku Hoshi no Shita de), that will be released on March 6th, 2013. Familiar with the numbers? Yes, it IS the same date as the release date of EGOIST’s “All Alone With You“!
By the way, last September, Porno Graffitti released their 36th single titled “カゲボウシ” (Kageboushi), which serves as the theme song for a drama called “Tsurukame Josanin ~Minami no Shima Kara~”. It’s a really sweet ballad, so make sure to check it out!

I think a lot of releases tend to land on the same day for some odd reason…. It’s so weird.

Indeed, sometimes some releases tend to be out on the same date—might be coincidental or a planned marketing.
