After a series of spin-offs and sequels, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, the twenty-seventh series of the Kamen Rider franchise, has been announced to receive a new installment to the franchise in the form of a novel.
The novel, titled “Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Mighty Novel X”, is written by Yuya Takahashi and published by Kodansha Character Bunko. This novel will take place after the events of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Trilogy: Another Ending, and is set to release in June 2018.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (仮面ライダーエグゼイド Kamen Raidā Eguzeido) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company’s Kamen Rider Series. It is the eighteenth series in the Heisei period run and the twenty-seventh series overall. Toei registered the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid trademark on June 13, 2016. The show premiered on October 2, 2016, one week after the finale of Kamen Rider Ghost, joining Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger and later, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger in the Super Hero Time line-up.
